Official iPhone and iPad requirements

The Apple App Store is the clearest official source for current mobile compatibility. It lists iOS 15.0 or later for iPhone, iPadOS 15.0 or later for iPad, and a 3.8 GB app size. It also lists the game for iPod touch devices that can run iOS 15. These fields confirm the operating-system floor, but they do not guarantee the same graphics quality or frame rate on every supported device. Battery health, heat, available storage, and the specific chip can still affect an open-world game even when the store permits installation.

What is confirmed for Android

Aniimo has an official Google Play listing from Pawprint Studio, so Android is a confirmed native platform. The public listing currently does not display a minimum Android version, processor, graphics chip, memory requirement, or download size. A phone being able to open the store page or pre-register does not prove that the final client will be compatible. Google Play should show the device-specific compatibility result once the release build is available for that account and region. Beta screenshots and reports from another phone are not a reliable substitute because the launch build, graphics defaults, and supported-device rules can change.

The 3.8 GB value is the current size shown on the Apple listing. Store download size, installed size, and total space used after additional game files are three different measurements. Aniimo may download resources, language audio, or patches after installation, but the official listings do not yet publish that final total. Keep more free space than the listed package size and check the storage prompt before confirming the download.

Mobile launches after PC and console

The official launch schedule places the native mobile release on September 23, 2026, one week after the September 16 PC and console launch. The September 14 pre-download announcement applies to PC and console, not mobile. A Steam Remote Play label also describes streaming a PC game to another screen, not installing the native iOS or Android client.

What to check before downloading

Update the phone or tablet to a supported operating-system version, confirm that the official store page recognizes the device, and leave storage headroom for installation and later files. Use the same store account and region you plan to use at launch because availability can differ by country. Avoid third-party APK downloads while the official Android requirements remain unpublished, since those files do not prove compatibility and can introduce security risk.

What still needs release-day testing

They also do not explain whether text and voice packages can be downloaded separately. Those details should be measured on the released client with the exact device model, operating-system version, region, and game version recorded. A useful compatibility report should also note the processor, memory, selected graphics preset, frame-rate option, initial download size, and storage used after all required resources finish downloading.
