DIRECT ANSWER

Carried Items were simplified and the Rune system was removed

Aniimo's launch build simplifies Carried Items and removes the beta Rune system, including random rune slots. Capability Awakening below level 60 can be reset with training items returned, while Capability caps unlock gradually through level and Resonance star rank. Capafruit effects also transfer automatically during inheritance.

The launch training model

The developer letter describes a cleaner Carried Item system and removes the random rune-slot loop from earlier tests. The Rune system itself is gone. Beta advice based on rolling slots, farming a specific rune layout, or valuing an item by rune capacity is not a reliable launch reference.

Capability Awakening resets

Capability Awakening can be reset at any time while the Aniimo is below level 60, and consumed training items are returned. Capability caps are not all open immediately: they unlock gradually based on level and Resonance star rank. Check the live confirmation before resetting a level 60 creature because the official wording specifically describes the below-60 window.

Inheritance and Capafruit

Capafruit effects transfer automatically during inheritance in the launch design. Older instructions that require a manual effect transfer may now add unnecessary work. Before confirming inheritance, compare the source and resulting creature screens and verify that the expected effect appears in the preview.

  • Read current item and inheritance descriptions in the launch client.
  • Use the reset preview to confirm returned materials.
  • Track level and Resonance rank when a Capability cap changes.
  • Ignore rune-slot tier lists written for older tests.

Potential changes worth watching

Wild Aniimo with high Potential values of 9/9 and 10/10 will appear more often at launch. Sparkling Cube catches also guarantee Perfect Potential. Exact rates and the practical performance difference still require testing, so those announcements are not enough for a build ranking.
