DIRECT ANSWER

The official Index uses nine elements, five roles, and three growth stages

Aniimo records are organized with nine element labels: Holy, Fire, Ice, Dark, Electric, Grass, Water, Rock, and Wind. The official roles are DPS, Heal, Support, BREAK, and REGEN. Creature records can also show Lumin, Gamma, and Nova growth stages, while some Aniimo have multiple listed forms within their record.

The nine element labels

The official Index filters the roster by Holy, Fire, Ice, Dark, Electric, Grass, Water, Rock, and Wind. Those labels identify and organize creatures. The current public index does not present a complete damage multiplier chart on its main page, so this guide does not invent strengths, weaknesses, immunities, or reaction rules from familiar systems in other games.

The five roster roles

The official role filters are DPS, Heal, Support, BREAK, and REGEN. DPS identifies damage-focused records, while Heal and Support signal different utility directions. BREAK and REGEN are preserved exactly as the official labels display them. A role is a starting point for comparison, not a full team recommendation, because skills, traits, form, encounter, and player control still matter.

Lumin, Gamma, and Nova stages

Individual Index records can show three growth stages named Lumin, Gamma, and Nova. These describe progression within an Aniimo record. A listed form count is a separate field: Emberpup has three forms in its official record, while Pawney has five. Do not treat stage name and form count as interchangeable.

  • Lumin is the first displayed growth-stage label.
  • Gamma is the second displayed growth-stage label.
  • Nova is the third displayed growth-stage label.
  • Forms vary within one record and need creature-specific checking.

What a real type chart still needs

A useful type chart must show verified attack relationships, multipliers, exceptions, and any interaction changes by version. The main Index filters confirm the names of the elements but not that full combat matrix. Until an official combat reference or the launch client exposes those values, use the creature directory for classification rather than matchup calculation.
